The walk over the dune to the pristine beach at Saline is perhaps the most iconic of all St. Barth images, and living in the neighborhood surrounding the beach puts you within easy reach of that particular bit of paradise. Although luxury villas in the valley extending inward from the beach are rare, the few that exist offer a very special island experience. The neighborhood also offers the convenience of three of St. Barth's most popular restaurants for dinner, whether for traditional West Indies cuisine for lunch or an evening under the stars and a four-course chef's tasting menu. The shopping at St. Jean is just a quick drive over the hill, and Gustavia is less than 15 minutes away.
