West Coast Barbados

On the west coast there are many beaches where the water is calm and the waves are much smaller than on the south and east coast. The most popular beaches include Paynes Bay, Sandy Lane and Mullins Beach. This is the place to relax under the umbrellas and shade of Casurarina or Palm trees. Take a dip in the safety roped off areas or venture out on a jet ski.  The west coast is the best place for amazing sunsets.

On the south coast the beaches have smaller waves than on the east coast and are good for swimming. The most popular beaches include Accra Beach and Carlisle Bay.

East Coast Barbados

On the east coast, the beaches are white and the waves are much larger than the west and south coast. The shore is pounded by the Atlantic making it a delight for surfers around the world. Rated as one of the best beaches in the world, Crane beach is a must see. Also recommended is Bottom Bay.
